About School

St Theresa's school is an Unaided Minority Educational Institution Established and administered by the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow. a society registered under the societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. School was founded in 1996 with the object of imparting modern education to children of Sandila and the surrounding villages with discipline and moral values.

St. Theresa's School popularly known as "The little flower", is the Patroness of our school. She was born in France in 1873. She was known for the virtues of holiness, childlike simplicity, humility, self-sacrifice and boundless love for God. She performed her duties of everyday life in her "little way." That's why she has been called "The little Flower". Thus she became the model and inspiration to all the children. She died in 1897 at the age of 24. She was proclaimed saint in 1925. The life of St. Theresa has been a great inspiration to many a youth and her motto has been:

"Love Truth Wisdom"

The school aims at the integral and personal formation of,- young children by giving them an education which is morally mentally, socially and spiritually sound.

The school encourages the students to keep their ideals and to strive for excellence in every field. It endeavours to inculcate in them the value of freedom and its judicious use, respect of law and order. It also teaches them to abide by moral principles, to be unselfish in the service of their country and fellowmen.

The school is affiliated to LC.S.E. Board, New Delhi and admits boys and girls from L.K.G. to Class X.
