GENERAL RULES OF DISCIPLINE
  • Student should be polite and well behaved in and outside the school.
  • Student must reach school 10 min. before time in the morning and leave the campus within 10 minutes after the school gets over.
  • Students are urged to contribute to the discipline of the school by their manners and general behaviour. Hence for the smooth running of the school, no student should bring to school any object liable to prove a source of disturbance. No student is permitted to bring, mobile or other electronic gadgets to the school.
  • As far as posture, cleanliness, silence, politeness, honesty, attention to work and respect to teachers and companions are concerned, the school should be looked upon as a place of reverence and discipline.
  • Absolute silence must be maintained at all places during the teaching hours, whether it is the library, laboratories, computer room, the general assembly or on way to and from the class rooms, and games field.
  • Respect for one's property as well as for that of the school and for the things belonging to others is a mark of a well.- bred and responsible student. Furniture, teaching aids and charts should be kept in their respective places after use. Any kind of damage done in the school premises must be made good by the student.
  • It is compulsory to speak in English in the premises in order to facilitate the students the use of the medium of instruction. They should maintain a high standard in their conversation.
  • No other books, newspaper, periodicals, pictures, games, articles, mobiles or any electrical instruments not pertaining to their daily use should be brought to the school without the class teacher/Principal’s permission. If detected or found to have bad influence on the fellow students, these will be confiscated and students found guilty may be punished.
  • The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, money, stationary, etc. Each student is responsible for his/her own things. Bringing of valuables to the school is discouraged. If the articles are brought genuine reasons, they must be handed over to the Principal/Head Mistress or teachers and the same may be collected after the school.
  • The Principal may chastise a student for habitual idleness, disobedience or misconduct injurious to the moral tone of the school. He may even ask the student to discontinue if he is guilty of serious matters.
  • No fines or collection for any purpose whatsoever may be made without the previous sanction of the Principal. No gifts to be presented to any member of the staff, teaching or non-teaching.
  • In the absence of the teachers, the class monitor assumes the responsibility of order and discipline of the class. He/She should fulfill his/her duty with loyalty and impartiality.
  • Students who are given responsibility should carry it out dutifully and impartially and in accordance with the direction of the Principal or the Teacher deputed by him. They should consider it as a serve to the school and their fellow students.
  • Students can always approach the Principal individually for any responsible or sympathetic consideration but not collectively.
  • No students may take private tuition in any subject from any member of the school staff without the written permission of the Principal. All tuitions must be discontinued one week before the examinations.
  • The General Assembly is the most important part of the school day. Every student should be present at it to begin the day with a prater to God, and listen to the important announcements. Student should reach 10 min. before the assembly.
  • Students should be friendly, courteous and co-operative towards other students of the school, treating everyone with respect and conducting themselves in a dignified manner.
  • All must come to school in time neatly dressed with lessons well prepared and homework done. Text, exercise books and material for drawing, S.U.P.W., Art / Craft, should be brought to school according the day's routine.
  • Girls should tie their hair neatly an all students should avoid fancy hair style to school. Low waist pants should also be avoided by the boys.
  • Students should keep their classroom and the school compound spotlessly clean using the bins provided for waste paper and rubbish.
  • Students should not throw stones at one another or play with blades and other sharp objects which will harm them and other students.
  • Students are not allowed to visit staff-room without the prior permission either of the Principal or the Teachers.
  • Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate or repeatedly and willfully mischievous or is guilty of malpractices in connection with examinations or has committed an offence of serious-indiscipline, misbehaviour or who is the opinion of the Principal has an unwholesome influence on his fellow students may be removed for a specified period or expelled permanently from the school.
  • A student may also be removed permanently from the school for assaulting a teacher, seriously attacking the fellow student, persistent rude behavior towards teachers and in the opinion of the Principal has demoralizing influence on fellow students.
  • Students repeatedly coming late or forgetting to bring books or coming without the proper uniform may be punished.
